Supergirl is approaching the series finale on The CW and fans are wondering how long it will be before the final season of the superhero show lands on Netflix. The first five seasons are already on the streaming service, so when is Supergirl season 6 available on Netflix?
In the past, new seasons of Supergirl have shown up on Netflix within a few days or weeks of the finale. The season 6 finale is in November 2021, so season 6 could end up on Netflix as soon as November or December, or possibly early 2022.

The only reason there could be a delay in releasing season 6 on Netflix comes with the way the calendar lands. Given the holidays, it might make more sense for the series to land on Netflix after the holidays. Then again, with people taking time off for the holidays it also makes just as much sense seeing the finale season arriving on Netflix as quickly as possible.
The final season of Supergirl is made up of 20 episodes. The season 6 premiere was March 30, 2021, and the finale will air in November.
The CW ordered season 6 in January 2020 but the pandemic delayed the start of filming, pushing the production start date to October 2020. Ironically, that’s when the final season should have premiered under normal circumstances.
During the DC FanDome 2021, the Supergirl cast gathered to thank fans for their support over the past six seasons. The cast expressed their gratitude for the show and the friendships they formed, and there’s no question that if they had a chance to come back together, perhaps in an Arrowverse crossover, they would absolutely do so.
Saying goodbye to Supergirl won’t be easy, but it’s nice knowing that the entire series will be available on Netflix soon enough so you can watch Kara Danvers’ adventures over and over again.
