The first season of Chucky took fans by surprise. As much as we love this possessed doll, we had our doubts. Well, at least I did. And the series may have arrived just in time for Halloween, but horror fans enjoy the fun thrills any season! Even as we approach the holidays, we’re all about Chucky! Sadly, season 1 has come to an end after only 8 episodes. But it’s not all bad news.
Is Chucky season 2 happening?
Yes! On Nov. 29, Deadline reports that Chucky has been renewed for season 2 by USA Network and SYFY. According to the source, NBCUniversal reports that the horror series has reached 9.5 million viewers in its first season, that’s plenty of horror fans to keep the show going.
If you haven’t watched Chucky, you can binge all of season 1 on Peacock beginning on December 1.
When is Chucky season 2 coming out?
The source doesn’t share an exact date for when Chucky season 2 will be released. However, we are willing to be it’ll be either late September 2022 or early October 2022, once again, just in time for Halloween.

An official synopsis has not yet been revealed. It’s too early for that. However, it’s not too tough to guess. Season 1 left us with a fun cliffhanger about what’s to come, and the surprising appearance of Tiffany — the doll, not the human (it’s complicated).
