It’s true! Saturday Night Live is skipping a week! There’s no new episode tonight due to Thanksgiving. I know what you’re thinking, I’m bummed, too! But just like the rest of us, the SNL cast and crew need a break. The sketch comedy series usually takes the week of a holiday off. So does this mean it’ll be back with a new episode next week? Unfortunately, no.
SNL will not be featuring a new episode until Dec. 11, 2021, as it is skipping two weeks. There will still be an episode of SNL airing tonight on NBC though. But it’s not new.
