Meredith performs a surgery while in Minnesota that could put her and Nick’s relationship to the test on Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 7.
After taking a few weeks off, the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial are back in action. We’re back to splitting time between Seattle and Minnesota during the episode as Meredith and Amelia continue working on their project to cure Parkinson’s.
However, things are going to get a little heated. Hamilton is frustrated. Maybe it’s that Koracick is still around, or maybe it’s that the cure isn’t being created fast enough. Either way, Meredith needs to find something else to do to take her mind off the situation.
Nick steps in to help. He has a friend who needs a surgery, and who better than Meredith Grey to perform it? Their personal relationship is going to be put to the test when things go wrong in the OR.
Link and Jo spend quality time together on Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 7
Meanwhile in Seattle, we’ll see more of Link and Jo together. It has certainly been great to see Jo have a friend in her time of need. In fact, both Link and Jo have needed each other on a friendship level. I want to see that friendship remain as that, but this is the world of Grey’s Anatomy. We just know that’s not going to be the case.
This could be the turning point. Link and Jo take their children to a fairytale theater performance, but things are about to go wrong. Is that to do with one of the theater stars or will Link or Jo misread some signals?

Dr. Hamilton takes his frustrations out on Meredith, so Nick gives her a chance to blow off steam by scrubbing in on a surgery. Back in Seattle, Link and Jo take their kids to a fairytale theater performance that goes wrong.
