I shouldn’t have teased, because there’s actually no new episode of the NBC sketch comedy series tonight, Dec. 4. But an old episode will still air! When does SNL return with new episodes and who will be hosting when it does?
Saturday Night Live is skipping another week! There’s no new episode tonight due to a long Thanksgiving break. I know what you’re thinking, I’m bummed, too! But just like the rest of us, the SNL cast and crew need some time to rest and bond with family and friends. The sketch comedy series usually takes the week of a holiday off (more if necessary).
SNL will not be featuring a new episode until Dec. 11, 2021. There will still be an episode of SNL airing tonight on NBC though. But it’s not new.
