Joining the cast is a plethora of talented actors like Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchet, Rob Morgan, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, and Scott Mescudi.
McKay’s film is an allegory for climate change and how influential groups like the media, government and general population handle this sensitive, but serious topic. In an interview with the NY Times, McKay calls the film a “dark comedy.”
