We didn’t ring in the New Year with a new episode of Saturday Night Live, but is there a new episode tonight? Who is hosting SNL tonight and when is it coming back with new episodes?
There is, unfortunately, no new episodes of Saturday Night Live airing on NBC tonight. However, we will see an episode air on the network. Tonight, if you tune in, you’ll find season 47 episode 6, which is hosted by Jonathan Majors (Loki) and the musical guest Taylor Swift take the stage. If you missed this episode during the first run, now is your chance to watch and catch up! Additionally, don’t forget that all previous SNL episodes for season 47 (and other seasons) are streaming on Peacock.
Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, January 8?
The cast and crew of SNL continue their winter break, but they will be hard at work soon as the return of season 47 is not too far away. In fact, we may spot the cast and crew back at work practicing for season 47’s return. As Deadline reports, SNL season 47 will be back next week on Jan. 15, 2022.
Season 47 episode 10 will be hosted by Ariana DeBose and Roddy Ricch will be the musical guest. The source also reports that season 47 episode 10 will be back with a full cast and crew (after only featuring a very limited cast and crew for season 47 episode 9).
