It was an exciting development for Elizabeth on a personal front, but that wasn’t the only exciting development that came about for Elizabeth in the finale for as the season came to a close, she found a publisher for her book.
Elsewhere in the finale, Rosemary decided to pursue a career in journalism; Ned invented the Band-Air; Gowen handed over control of his oil business to Hickam before leaving town; sparks began to fly between Bill and Molly; and Carson left town to move to Baltimore to further his medical career.
