Welcome to your monthly update on Euphoria season 3. What do we know so far? It’s no surprise that season 3 is not coming to HBO in April 2022, but will the third season of the HBO hit series come in 2022 at all? Let’s get right to it.
As a reminder (because time is flying these days), Euphoria season 2 wrapped back in late February. It’s no secret that the wait for season 2 after season 1 concluded was a long, long time. Are we in for a long wait again? Here’s everything we know so far (fair warning: it’s not much).
Now, rumor has it, that Euphoria season 3 won’t premiere until 2023. But I refuse to believe it! Why? Because, part of the reason why Euphoria season 2 took so long is the pandemic. Just like all other movie and TV projects, production had to shut down for the safety of the cast and crew. Things are much better now with new safety protocols, so that has to count for something, right? Well, maybe. The cast of Euphoria is busy-busy. Not only is Zendaya in high demand, but the others have many projects they are working on, too. Let’s hope filming season 3 is at the top of their priorities.
Euphoria season 3 release date predictions
Having said all that, here’s our prediction we are throwing into the universe: Season 1 premiere in August 2019 and season 2 dropped in January 2022, so the months are not close at all. This means, season 3 could arrive between these two dates, so fall 2022. However, I have yet to hear any news such as filming starting or cast additions/changes. Once we learn official updates, we will have a better idea about when season 3 could arrive.
When do you think HBO will release season 3 of Euphoria? And what changes would you like to see, I know I’ve seen requests (more like demands) for less nudity, but no word on this yet. Stay tuned!
