It’s a new month. Does that mean we finally get a new episode of New Amsterdam Season 4 on NBC? Here’s what you need to know about the show’s return.
We’ve missed our favorite medical drama. While we knew there wouldn’t be any more new episodes in March, we also knew the show would return in April. Does that mean the first Tuesday of the month?
Sadly, there isn’t a new episode of the series on just yet. Like the previous weeks, there won’t even be a rerun of the series tonight.
Why isn’t a new episode of New Amsterdam on tonight?
The lack of new episode is the same reason as previous weeks. This has nothing to do with the pandemic filming delays and is everything to do with NBC’s scheduling decisions. Instead of a new episode or even a rerun, NBC has the new series The Thing About Pam running in the New Amsterdam timeslot.
The series is almost over. Once that happens, we’ll see the medical drama return.
When will new episodes of New Amsterdam return?
How long will it take for the series to come back? There isn’t too long left now. We have just two more weeks left to wait. That’s right; the series returns on Tuesday, April 19.
There isn’t much available about the new episode. We have a promo that shows Max getting ready to propose to Helen. It may seem a little fast for some since the two only just started dating at the start of Season 4 (after three seasons of waiting), but he was willing to move to another country for her.
Meanwhile, we’ll need to see how Casey deals with Bloom working with him again. He’s angry about losing his job due to some of her actions, but he’s also scared and angry at one point in the promo as they drive in a car. Has Bloom turned back to her addictions to deal with the loss of her own job and the loss of her girlfriend?
