The CW’s schedule has changed a fair bit for fall 2021. While a lot of shows are premiering in October 2021, Charmed Season 4 isn’t going to be one of them.
We double-checked the list of premieres on The CW in October just in case, but there hasn’t been a change. Charmed Season 4 is not on the list of shows premiering this month.
It’s not all that surprising. When The CW announced its fall schedule, there were a few usual suspects missing. The supernatural drama was one of the missing shows, being held for the midseason. There just aren’t enough slots in the schedule for everything on the network, especially with some nights being held for alternative programming.
So, when can we expect the fourth season? What are the changes to come for the season? Here’s everything we know.
Charmed Season 4 premiere date predictions
We’ll see Charmed Season 4 sometime in 2022. When in 2022 is up for debate. Usually, we’d say January. This is when a lot of midseason shows premiere, but The CW’s schedule is still a little off-kilter.
The October premiere dates are being delayed. In fact, The Flash and Superman & Lois are being held for November. It could mean a January premiere date for midseason shows isn’t possible. So, we could be waiting until March or April for the show. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the plan.
Charmed Season 4 will see some changes. The third season saw Macy die. There’s another Charmed One turning up, but we don’t know how she fits in or how she’s related just yet. Lucy Barrett has been cast as the new Charmed One but no details have been shared.
The season will also see a change of showrunners again. TVLine reports that Jeffrey Lieber, Joey Falco, and Nicki Renna will take over the reins of the show. This will likely mean a change of direction and tone to the series in a way there was a change between Seasons 1 and 2. We’ll hold judgment for now.
