We’re nearly two months into the Gossip Girl (2021) hiatus between the first and second half of season 1. The wait for the show’s return has at least been filled with good news as fans can rest assured that the season finale won’t be the last time we see this Constance St. Jude’s crew. The series was renewed for a second season in September.
No news was shared about what to expect from season 2 but that’s not surprising. We still have six episodes of the first season to get through before we can begin speculating over what Gossip Girl (2021)’s sophomore season could be about.
However, we do know part 2 of the first season is bound to be messier than the first as the midseason finale, “Parentsite,” took the gloves off when it came to ill-advised hook-ups, revenge, and the teachers’ snowballing Gossip Girl scheme.

Gossip Girl (2021) part 2 premiere date predictions
As Hidden Remote reported previously, Gossip Girl (2021) will return to HBO Max for the second part of season 1 in November. When the streamer announced the news, they didn’t provide a specific date though given episode 7’s premise, it’s likely to be close to Thanksgiving.
That’s right! According to The Wrap, part 2 of the season kicks off with a Thanksgiving episode. The holiday has always been an iconic part of the Gossip Girl universe and that tradition lives on in the reboot.
We’re preparing for drama to be served during every single course as tensions will be running high. Remember, when we last left these teens, Obie and Julien were hooking up at a protest unbeknownst to Zoya. Also, Aki, Audrey, and Max hooked up as well.
Not to mention Max’s attempt at publicly shaming Rafa with a video of the two of them having sex didn’t go as planned. He’d sent the recording to Gossip Girl unaware that Rafa is one of the teachers behind the account.
The other teachers saw the video, but Rafa deleted it before it could be shared. Now it’s possible that mutual assured destruction is the name of the game if any one of the teachers tries to use that tape against Rafa. They, after all, are committing psychological warfare on their own students, and he knows all about it.
