It’s time to see Bravo Team back in action. Most of the team is back, although the guys will still be grieving the loss of Full Metal. We’re still grieving the loss of Full Metal! He may be gone, but he won’t be forgotten.
That being said, there will be a new member of the team on the new season. Nobody will ever replace Full Metal, but there needs to be a full team for Bravo Team to do the job. And we’ll need to see how the team adjusts to a new member.
What to expect on the SEAL Team Season 5 premiere
The premiere is the first part of a two-parter. We’ll get the second episode next Sunday.
The team heads out on a training mission, only to find that it’s a cover for a very real mission. It’s going to be up to Bravo Team to put out a new fire on the other side of the world. If they don’t succeed, the world could see World War III, and nobody wants that.
This is certainly going to be a difficult season to watch. There are going to be some connections to the events in the real world, potentially including the Americans pulling out of Afghanistan after 20 years. There’s also potentially a 20-year anniversary for 9/11, which would have had an impact on every member of Bravo Team.
Don’t forget that SEAL Team is moving to Paramount+. There are only around four episodes that will air on CBS before the permanent move to the streaming platform.
