It’s time for the interns to take part in the next part of their study. They’re operating alone on Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 4.
Webber is working hard on getting the interns into shape. They missed a year of study due to COVID-19, and he’s got his work cut out for him. The best way to get them up to speed is to put them into uncomfortable situations. That leads to them being put in ORs on their own.
It’s time for the interns to do their solo surgeries. These are sure to be relatively routine procedures, but it’s clear that Bailey isn’t that comfortable with the idea. She’s worried that something will go wrong, but she was an intern once. It’s important to remember that all surgeons have to go through this.
Something is about to go wrong in Helm’s OR, though. She wants an attending to help.
Addison’s patient faces complications on Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 4
In the previous episode, Addison turned up with groundbreaking surgery. She was doing a full womb transplant to make it possible for a woman to have her own children. The surgery itself went pretty straightforward, even with the HVAC system shutting down.
Addison and Meredith worked together on the patient. There was a problem at one point, but they opened her back up and make sure there was blood flow.
However, this patient isn’t out of the woods yet. There’s a complication, and Addison needs to make sure this patient survives with the full womb that has been transplanted. This needs to be a success and not just for Addison’s career. She cares about her patient.
