Titans found a new home at HBO Max for its third season. Has it been successful enough to get a Season 4? Here’s everything we know.
The DC Fandome event did not disappoint. It brought some great news about various TV shows. Was Titans on the list?
The DC series initially started on DC Universe. However, the show headed to HBO Max for its third season, which gave us hope that there would be more. The show follows the sidekicks of the Justice League along with other friends, including Nightwing, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy. We’ve seen the team grow over the seasons, with the introduction of Super Boy in Season 2 and a new potential Robin in Season 3.
Eyes are now on whether there will be more to the story. The third season ends this week, and we have a lot of questions still to answer.
Is Titans Season 4 happening?
There is a lot of good news about the series. During the DC Fandome event, HBO Max confirmed that there would be a fourth season of the superhero drama. It’s not the only show on the network renewed, either. Doom Patrol also landed a fourth season.
We’ve not seen the two shows crossover since the initial introduction of the Doom Patrol members during the first season of Titans. Could we start to see more crossovers now that both shows have been renewed?
When does the new season of Titans start?
We don’t have any information about when the fourth season will premiere. It usually takes 12 to 18 months between seasons, and that’s without the pandemic protocols in place. The show has only just been renewed, so the writing will have to happen first. The post-production process will take the longest with all the VFX needed.
We’ll likely see the new season sometime in September or October 2022 at the earliest. It will likely get the same hybrid release that has become common for many streaming platforms now. It certainly keeps people talking about a season for longer and the people behind the show deserve to have their hard work talked about.
