Titans Season 3 has taken up our Thursday morning viewing for the last 13 weeks. Is there a new episode dropping in the middle of the night tonight?
The world of Titans continues to grow. The previous episode was filled of action and reveals, introducing more characters and hinting at the opportunity for another sidekick to join the team in the new season.
Will we get to see more of the story tonight? Sadly, there isn’t a new episode of Titans Season 3 dropping tonight, Thursday, Oct. 28. There are no new episodes for a while.
Why isn’t a new episode of Titans on tonight, Thursday, Oct. 28?
If you thought the previous episode wrapped up a few storylines, that’s because it did. The episode was the Season 3 finale, which is why there’s no new episode tonight. Networks don’t start a new season right away.
The great news is there will be more to come soon. Titans Season 4 is officially happening, with the renewal coming ahead of the Season 3 finale during the FanDome event.
When will the new season arrive? It needs to be written and filmed first. After that, it will need to go through post-production. We’re looking at around 14 months for all that to happen, so the end of 2022 is most likely.
There are a lot of things to look forward to in the fourth season. There’s a chance Roy Harper will appear, although I’m not sure the series can handle the character as well as Arrow did. I’ll keep an open mind.
We also got to see Jason’s redemption arc. It didn’t come with the ultimate sacrifice, which makes a change. It also didn’t come with immediate forgiveness, which I liked. Jason is Red Hood and he’s no longer part of the Titans. However, he will lend a hand when he’s needed and will be an anti-hero of sorts.
We won’t have more of Blackfire, though. She returned home to lead her people and is on good terms with everyone, including Connor. We will get to see more of Starfire with her new powers, though. In fact, a few Titans have new powers to explore.
Titans is available to stream in full (so far) on HBO Max.
