Is there a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight? (October 30)

Fans of Saturday Night Live know that Saturday nights belong to SNL! But is a new episode of the NBC comedy sketch series on tonight, Oct. 30, 2021? When does Saturday Night Live return with new episodes?

Sadly for fan, there is no new episode of SNL tonight. SNL‘s schedule can be a little confusing. I know it’s tough keeping up with it. There could be three back-to-back new weekly episodes and then the comedy is off for the next week of so. But that’s why we’re here, to help you out by keeping you posted.

Let’s not forget, Saturday Night Live is, well, LIVE. So NBC can’t just air new, pre-recorded episodes, it defeats the purpose. Tell me watching the cast and our favorite celebrities break character and start laughing in the middle of a sketch isn’t one of your favorite parts about watching SNL!

That said, there is never a new episode during a holiday weekend. The cast and crew take Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays off — as they should!

Is Saturday Night Live not on tonight?

There is still an SNL episode airing on NBC tonight if you’d like to tune in! It’s season 47 episode 1, which was hosted by Owen Wilson and feature Kacey Musgraves as the musical guest. It’s a very fun episode to watch!

Which episode so far has been your favorite this season? Mine has to be Rami Malek’s episode, Kim Kardashian’s episode is also hilarious! If you missed these, catch up this weekend since there’s no new SNL episode anyway.

When does Saturday Night Live return with new episodes?

No worries here, SNL isn’t leaving us hanging for too long! A new episode is set to go live next week on Nov. 6, 2021. Season 47 episode 6 will be hosted by Kieran Culkin and the musical guest is Ed Sheeran!

I’m really hoping Ed Sheeran joins some sketches, as well as Macaulay Culkin, Kieran’s brother, you know, since it’s the holiday season and all!
