High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (HSMTMTS) season 3 is one of the most highly anticipated new seasons of any Disney+ original series.
This anticipation certainly doesn’t come as a shocker when one considers how great the second season was for dedicated fans of the show. From seeing some characters finally have their big break to watching the breakup of couples who you’ve been rooting for from the start, there was simply so much exciting content seen in season 2 that without a doubt got everyone hyped for season 3.
“So where is season 3?” you may ask. Unfortunately, we do not yet know the answer to this question but what we do know is that HSMTMTS season 3 is not coming to Disney+ in November 2021.
HSMTMTS season 3 release date predictions
As it stands, it is extremely likely that HSMTMTS season 3 won’t be coming to our screens this year even though the previous seasons aired around this time in their respective years.
The lack of a new season in the remaining months of 2021 could be because the original series was just renewed for a third season back in September 2021, meaning that the chances of the cast and crew finishing up the upcoming season this soon are slim to none.
With all of this and more in mind, we predict that HSMTMTS season 3 will debut sometime during the summer of 2022. This would be a release date that coincides with the exciting theme of season 3 — Summer Break.
The students of East High will be living it up at summer camp, allowing their summer dreams to soar higher than the embers of a campfire, and hopefully, we will be able to see these things and more unravel by the summer of next year.
