The year 2021 had a lot more movies (and TV shows) dropping than 2019 or 2020, and the year 2022 is going to be even better. The Uncharted is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. However, it’s also still very confusing trying to figure out when and where a new movie will premiere. Is it coming to theaters? Will it be available on streaming only? Has the date been pushed back? When is The Uncharted movie coming out?
The movie may not be coming in January 2022, but it’ll be here soon enough. The Uncharted premieres in theaters on Feb. 18, 2022.
What is The Uncharted movie about?
The movie is based on the video game of the same name, it follows Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) a street-smart young man who embarks on a treasure hunt with Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).

Along with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, the movie also stars Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, Antonio Banderas and others.
Will The Uncharted stream online?
We’re not sure. At the time of this writing, a streaming release has not been announced. The movie will open in theaters first on Feb. 18, and may get a streaming release 6-8 weeks after its theater date. The movie is from Sony Pictures Releasing, so they can give streaming rights to any platform they want. My guess is that they’ll likely go with HBO Max or Paramount+, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more.
