If you were hoping to catch up with Spencer’s predicament early in the new year, there’s some disappointing news. All American won’t return with new episodes this month.
We’ve gone all winter break with no new episodes of our favorite shows. For many networks, the wait is coming to an end, but that’s not the case for The CW’s All American.
We’ve double-checked the list of new episodes airing in January 2022, and there isn’t anything on the list for All American. That’s not too surprising since we already had a definite return date, but we had hoped that things would change.
With the pandemic, we’ve seen a lot of last-minute changes. The CW doesn’t seem to be bringing any of them, though.
When does All American return with new episodes?
The good news is we’re not waiting too long for new episodes. We’re only waiting until February 2022. The exact date is Monday. Feb. 21.
There are a lot of questions about why The CW is holding back the series for so long. After all, 4400 will return in a couple of weeks. Part of the delay is likely linked to the pandemic. The show probably needs a little more time to film. Then it will be the Winter Olympics, and The CW isn’t going to put scripted shows up against NBC’s programming of that!
When the series does return, we’ll pick up where things left off at prom night. Spencer is facing expulsion for something that he didn’t do. He’s trying to be a good leader, taking the rap for his teammates stealing the football trophy. However, he may end up expelled for taking the fall, even whenever everyone knows he didn’t do it.
Will his team let him take the fall? Will they step in at the last minute? We’ll have to wait and see.
