All eyes are on when more episodes of Shadow and Bone Season 2 will air. The bad news is that we won’t get it in January 2022.
There are a lot of shows on Netflix we want to see more of. Shadow and Bone is one of them. The YA series has been renewed for Season 2, and it will focus mostly on the story from Seige and Storm. There will be the Crows added in the story in some way, and it will be exciting to see how they’re added in this time.
The bad news is we’re still waiting for the series. Shadow and Bone Season 2 is not coming to Netflix in January 2022. We’ve double-checked the list of releases, even though we never expected to see it on there.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 release date predictions
Right now, we’re not really expecting the series to arrive on Netflix until the end of 2022 at the earliest. We’re not even sure it’s going to make it this year. We may need to wait until early 2023. That’s going to be a long wait.
What’s On Netflix shares that filming of the season is going to take place between January and July 2022. It takes at least six months to get through post-production, and that is for shows that aren’t fantasy shows with a lot of visual effects.
The good news is that it looks like filming is going to start soon. Executive producer Josh Barry shared a post on Instagram about heading to Bulgaria, where the series films. We’ll start seeing the cast head that way, and hopefully, we’ll get some casting announcements for some of the characters in the second book soon.
