How I Met Your Father has officially dropped on Hulu and we cannot be any more excited about the amount of laughter this comedy series is sure to bring us this year!
Of course, you long-time fans of the show’s predecessor, How I Met Your Mother, are as thrilled as we are about this new release, wanting to watch this show with your fellow comedy-loving family members as soon as possible. But before you do so, we want to make sure that the 2022 series is appropriate for everyone alongside you.
How I Met Your Father‘s age rating and much more, right here.
How I Met Your Father age rating
As of today, the series’ home streaming service, Hulu, has given the show an age rating of TV-14 meaning that those 14 years of age and older can view the series alongside their older guardian.
How I Met Your Father was given this age rating for its slight use of mildly suggestive language and situations, some of which you can see/hear in the official trailer for the series down below.
In knowing all this, it’s natural to opt for watching a different show that is similar to the Hulu series but is slightly more age-appropriate. If this is the case, then you should definitely check out the new series Abbott Elementary currently streaming on Hulu as well. It’s full of hilarious moments, relatable problems, and, best of all, it’s currently rated TV-PG so everyone is free to watch!
The Wonder Years, Malcolm in the Middle, The Golden Girls, and The Goldbergs are also great kid-friendly substitutions for you and the family.
Whether you opt for seeing the beloved Betty White in one of her best series or opt for watching Hillary Duff’s acting comeback in How I Met Your Father, you’re certainly in for a great binge-watch session on Hulu and we love that for you.
Happy watching!
