If you’ve been enjoying Euphoria season 2 as much as we have thus far, then you’re going to be absolutely thrilled to know that this smash-hit HBO series has been renewed for a third season!
Yes, you read that right! Following the immense amount of great reception that resulted in the show having twice the viewership than it did in the first season, the network didn’t even think twice about giving us yet another season of our favorite show. Lucky us!

While this announcement video is without a sneak peek of who or what the third season will be about, it goes without saying that season 3 will continue from wherever season 2, which officially ends on Feb. 27, left off meaning we may certainly be able to see Jules, Maddy, Cassie, and, hopefully, Rue Bennett once again.
All this talk about season 3 may have you wondering, “when exactly is the third season coming out?” Don’t worry, we speculate, below.
Will Euphoria season 3 release this year?
As of right now, it is not known when exactly Euphoria season 3 will release, but it is safe to assume that the upcoming season will not be in our hands until early 2023 or, latest, 2024.
This prediction is based on the fact that the series does tend to take its time when creating its new seasons. Case in point, the second season arrived nearly three years after the first season debuted on HBO. With this in mind, history may repeat itself, meaning fans are going to have to keep strong during what may be yet another two-year hiatus.
Of course, being that a Euphoria season 3 release date has yet to be confirmed, there’s a fair chance we could receive the new season as soon as 2023. Who knows? Maybe creator Sam Levinson will release it later this year! (Fingers crossed!)
Either way, exciting things are on the way and we can’t wait.
