Max and co. are back after taking some time off for the Winter Olympics. Can Max save the hospital on New Amsterdam Season 4, Episode 15?
We’ve gone a few weeks without checking in with the staff at New Amsterdam Hospital. The Winter Olympics took over on NBC, but now the Games are over. It’s time to head back to our favorite scripted shows.
The last we left the staff at the hospital, things weren’t looking great. Reynolds chose to inform Fuentes of the resistance, which led to Bloom being fired and Iggy being demoted. Tyler Labine doesn’t blame Reynolds and even says Fuentes was right in her actions, but that doesn’t mean we have to support the villains in the story right now.
However, it’s time to pick up the story from where we left everyone, including Max being back in New York.
Can Max save New Amsterdam Hospital?
Max wants to do everything he can to bring New Amsterdam Hospital back to what it used to be. He wants to make sure the people of New York City are protected and have access to the right health care. However, leaving New York for London meant that Dr. Fuentes was going to take over, and he knew exactly what she was going to do.
She isn’t going to just step down from her position. She currently has the control she wants and even has Reynolds by her side. It’s going to take something big for Max to get rid of her and get his old job back.
Fuentes doesn’t have a loyal Reynolds, though. He just wants to do what is right for the hospital as a whole—the resistance was acting illegally so he was putting the hospital first by turning them in—and he also wants to protect his patients. So, he’s going to stand up to Fuentes when it comes to a surgery he’s involved in during the episode.
