We now know who the woman at the end of the Transplant Season 1 premiere is. Rania was Bash’s fiancée when they were back in Syria. For the last five years, Bash thought she was dead, and now there’s a chance to pick up life again.
However, neither of them has really jumped into things. Amira would love to, but she’s looking at this through a child’s eyes. Bash and Rania know that a lot has happened over the last five years, and that includes Bash kissing Mags at the end of the finale.
Will the two fall back into old patterns? Is this taste of home just what he needs right now with so much uncertainty everywhere else?
Mags struggles with her new boss on Transplant Season 2, Episode 2
Bash has the issue of Novak understanding the real state of Syria. Working with Doctors Without Borders, Novak knows that it would have been hard to get medical transcripts out of the country. That suggests that he knows Bishop lied to get Bash a job at the hospital.
It’s not just Bash who is struggling with Novak around, though. Mags is also struggling.
Novak doesn’t seem to trust her. He’s giving patients to other people, suggesting that Mags isn’t good enough to handle everything she does. However, is this guy the bad guy he initially seems to be. Could he just have a different leadership style that sees him wanting doctors to look after themselves as well as their patients?
