All American season 4 has been tough on all the characters as they transition into young adulthood. For Coop, however, the stakes have remained incredibly high with her freedom hanging in the balance. The season opened with her life on the line and then it upped the ante when Coop deciding to lie to the police about shooting Mo in self-defense.
Preach was the one who actually shot Mo. When the truth came out, it seemed like he was going to go to jail but with Laura Baker’s help, he was able to walk away from the situation to continue to raise his daughter. Coop was next to deal with pending charges.
Spoilers ahead of All American season 4, episode 13
In “Jump On It,” Coop received the news that she could be facing jail time for obstruction of justice and conspiracy to cover up a crime. Once again Laura was able to intervene in the situation, but before she was able to find a solution, Coop blew up her relationship with Patience.
The two got into it at a party that Patience threw in effort to help Coop focus on something else than the threat of jail time. For the past couple of years, Patience has unconditionally been supportive of Coop whether things have been good or absolutely a mess.
Lately, however, it seems like Patience can’t have a victory without having to deal with the drama happening in Coop’s life. Their fight brought a lot to the surface and the two broke up. Did their break-up stick? Here’s what we know!
Do Coop and Patience break up in All American season 4?
Yes, they do break-up. At the end of “Jump On It,” Coop apologizes for what happened between them, but she wasn’t sorry for breaking up. She said that for a long time, Patience has been making her life about her and their relationship. Coop wants her to be able to focus on herself.
Patience agreed. It was a sad moment for the two considering all that they’ve been through together but there’s been so much tension between the couple. They’re arguing has done nothing but cause strife for them. Whether or not they’ll find their way back to each other is unknown, but for now Coop and Patience are no longer together.
