Comedy fans better tune into HBO Max’s Minx ASAP, as this 1970s series is shaping up to be a really great watch. The show follows a feminist writer named Joyce Prigger (Ophelia Lovibond), who wants to switch up her career. Instead of covering makeup and fashion for your everyday women’s magazine, she wants to write about the real things women go through in life. When she meets an adult magazine publisher named Doug Renetti (Jake Johnson), she realizes she might have her one chance.
Together, Joyce and Doug decide to launch the very first erotic magazine for women, featuring naked men, sex toy advertisements, and hard-hitting stories. They land on the name Minx for the magazine — hence the name of the show — and get to work. Along the way, Joyce is faced with judgment from her peers and an accidental romance with a male model, the latter being completely new to her. Minx is a great show so far, with four episodes currently out on HBO Max.

- Thursday, April 14: Episodes 9 &10
Two episodes are released once a week every Thursday only on HBO Max.
