Riverdale season 6‘s wild ride is just getting started. The midseason premiere, “Chapter One Hundred and One: Unbelievable,” brought “gifts” into the equation with Betty and Archie both developing powers that upped the ante not only for the plot but for the two as individuals and a couple. Jughead, however, has lost his hearing.
While we fully expect Barchie to continue to flex their new abilities, we do wonder what more there is to Jughead’s story besides the writer suffering once again, though he’s not our only concern. Last episode, Cheryl was body snatched by her ancestor, Abigail, and Veronica killed her father via mercenary.
With the wrong Blossom bombshell walking around and a heavy-hearted Lodge desperately trying to hide her guilt, “Chapter One Hundred and Two: Death at a Funeral,” is going to be packed full of drama. Not to mention Marisol Nichols makes her return as Hermione Lodge and wherever Hermione is there’s sure to be a camera crew that follows. The Trash Bag Killer is also in town and, judging by episode 7’s trailer, Archie and the serial killer are about to cross paths.

Meanwhile, at the Riverdale town hall meeting, Veronica (Camila Mendes) breaks some news to the town, which later prompts a visit from her mother Hermoine (guest star Marisol Nichols). At Thornhill, Britta (guest star Kyra Leroux) tries to get to the bottom of some strange happenings going on with Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Nana Rose (guest star Barbara Wallace).
