Morbius is now playing in theaters and it has not been received with the best reviews from critics or audiences. Is the movie really as awful as everyone is saying or are some critics (and audiences) being a bit too harsh? Either way, I know there have been plenty of fans who have enjoyed the movie and are looking forward to the Blu-ray and DVD release. If this is you, here’s what we know about when you can own the movie on disc.
Whether you enjoyed Morbius and can’t wait to own the Blu-ray copy or you want to wait to watch it when the movie is available to stream or rent, here are the details.
When is Morbius on Blu-ray and DVD and Digital?
According to DVD Release Dates, Morbius will be available on Digital on May 17, 2022, so not too long from now. If you want to wait to stream the movie from home (though it won’t be free, yet), you have just over a month to go.
As for the Blu-ray and DVD release dates, we don’t have an exact confirm date, but movies typically go on disc form two to five months after their theater debut. So we are looking at anywhere between June and August, since we know the movie is out on Digital on May 17, and Digital comes first before disc, I’m willing to be the movie will be on Blu-ray/DVD early June. Still, we’ll come back here when we have the exact date to give you!
Now, how about free? When will fans be able to stream the movie online at no cost because it’s available on a streaming platform? That will likely be this summer. With the Blu-ray/DVD release being in June, the movie could be streaming online by August. Again, we’ll keep you posted!
