We’ve said goodbye to the first season of Ghosts on CBS. Now the big question for many is whether there is going to be a second season.
Can you believe that we’re coming to the end of another TV season? Ghosts is one of the first shows on CBS to air its finale, but the question is whether it was a series finale. Will CBS renew this new comedy series?
There has been some great news about the series. Here’s everything we know about whether Ghosts is canceled or renewed.
Is Ghosts Season 2 happening at CBS?
The news about the future of the Rose McIver series came very early. It was back in January 2022 that the news spread that Ghosts Season 2 would happen, making it one of the first shows on broadcast to be renewed. This news came with two other CBS comedies, The Neighborhood and Bob Hearts Abishola. Young Sheldon fans already know that comedy was renewed.
We could go into the rest of the season without worrying about a cliffhanger ending. Not that comedies tend to leave us with a lot of cliffhangers. However, we didn’t have to worry about not really getting to know some of the characters in the series.
When will Ghosts Season 2 premiere on CBS?
Now we want to know when we’ll get new episodes. The series is likely going to remain part of the fall lineup on CBS, although we’ll find out more about that in May 2022. We’re expecting it to keep its Thursday 9/8c timeslot.
The great news is that filming will start soon. Deadline reports that it will start in the summer, and this is due to the location of filming. The show films in Montreal, which is known for some harsh winter weather. Due to some of the characters not being able to put on other clothes due to the rules of the supernatural elements, filming needs to happen when it’s warm, especially for those outside shots.
Ghosts is available to stream on Paramount+.
