Heartstopper has finally landed on Netflix! The new teen drama, which is the live-action adaptation of the hit graphic novel by Alice Oseman, is likely to become the next series to take over the web.
Full of coming-of-age stories and romance, the show has already won the hearts of those who love the books. We doubt it’ll take too longer for newcomers to fall in love with the series as well. After all, Charlie and Nick’s love story is not only adorable but so is Tara and Darcy’s. Plus, there’s another possible romance that could get more shine in a second season.
Though Heartstopper just dropped its eight episode run, viewers are clamoring for another season with these teens. Who can blame them really? Who wouldn’t want to spend more time in the world Oseman created? It’s a lighthearted romp through a group’s adolescent years that also takes the time to work through the struggles each teen is going through.
To be honest, the series is a must-watch. As such, a second season is exactly what fans would hope for. Here’s what we know about that possibility.
Has Heartstopper been renewed?
Currently, Heartstopper hasn’t been renewed. As mentioned above, it just released on Netflix, so there’s no need to worry. If you’re new to Charlie and Nick’s love story, you maybe wondering if there’s more story to tell. The short answer is yes! Their live-action romance is adapted from a series of graphic novels and season 1 only tells the beginning of their and their friends’ stories.
