Despite its large library of Disney classics, I wouldn’t say Disney+ is a big player in the streaming wars. Apple TV+ and HBO Max have been delivering brilliant and unique stories with star studded casts. Then we have Netflix and Hulu, who have plenty for us to stream and then some. Still, you have to love Disney+ for being the streaming home to the two biggest franchises, Marvel and Star Wars. The month of April gave Disney+ a huge boost thanks to Moon Knight, and it has another anticipated series dropping soon (and it’s a big one). Let’s check it out.

It looks like Disney+ is saving the best for last as the platform is making us wait until May 27 for Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most anticipated shows of the year. On May 27, the first two episodes will be available to stream. After the two-episode premiere, we can expect one episode a week to drop on the streaming platform. You may have also noticed that May 27 is a Friday, let’s hope Disney+ continues these Friday releases, because Wednesdays are not as fun.
