Stranger Things season 4 (or simply Stranger Things 4) is set to premiere on Netflix on Friday, May 27. It has been way too long since we took a trip to Hawkins. In fact, I know many fans have been rewatching at least the last several episodes of season 2 in order to prepare for this new and final season.
The world of entertainment is ruled mostly by streaming platforms. And even those series that air on networks often have a streaming release, too. That said, it can always be a little confusing knowing where to watch our favorite series. Here’s what we know about where to stream Stranger Things season 4, and its previous seasons, online.
Stranger Things season 4 is not streaming on Disney+
While most fans are aware that Stranger Things is a Netflix exclusive, the hits series continues to attract new eyes. These new fans may not know where to stream it, especially with all these streaming platform contracts. So why has Disney+ come up when searching where to watch Stranger Things? Mostly because many consider it to be a “kids show,” which, honestly couldn’t be further from the truth!
This final season of Stranger Things is the most violent and frightening one we’ve seen. From scary images, gore, and violent acts, there’s a reason why season 4 is rated PG-14. If you are a parent, I recommend watching the premiere episode, first, so that you can see what you are in for. If you believe Stranger Things season 4 episode 1 is too graphic for a young audience, please know that there is more where that came from.
