Is there going to be a Season 2 of 4400?

4400 got off to a strong start on The CW, but things started to slip halfway through. Would The CW offer it a second chance? Is Season 2 happening?

When the 4400 reboot was announced, it was mostly met with positivity. Fans enjoyed the original series, and this reboot was going to add another layer to touch on very important social topics in today’s world.

At first, the series was met with praise. Then it started to get a little complicated and convoluted with the storylines. When it returned from its winter break, the series struggled to keep the audience it once had, and part of that would have been linked to the fact that All American didn’t return at the same time.

The CW took some time to make a decision about the series. What was the choice in the end?

4400 Season 2 is not happening at The CW

The CW became the network to hate in May 2022. It made some shocking cancellations decisions. The new shows of the year didn’t fare all that well. One only was renewed, and it wasn’t 4400.

In the end, The CW decided not to renew this rebooted series for a second season. That news came on Thursday, May 12. The cancellation came with the cancellation of fellow freshman series Naomi, and with CharmedDynastyRoswell, New Mexico, and many more. It was just after the cancellations of Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow, which had already made us worried about other favorites on the network.

The season finale, which now serves as the series finale, left us with a lot of questions. Manny, Logan, and Hayden were all snapped away by green light. The same green light that had taken the 4,400 people from different time periods and delivered them to 2021.

It turned out Manny had destroyed the time travel tower. Sienna Stone turned to Andre for help to fix it. We’ll never know what happened to everyone in the end.

4400 is currently available on The CW App and will likely head to HBO Max.
