The Bachelor Season 26 is officially happening, but there’s a wait for it. The series isn’t a fall show on ABC. When can we expect it to happen?
ABC has been quiet about the flagship Bachelor Nation series. After the controversy surrounding the 25th season, that’s not too surprising. However, we never thought the series would be canceled.
So, all we were doing was waiting for news about The Bachelor Season 26. We’re slowly getting that, including the fact that Jesse Palmer is now the host of the show.
We also found out that The Bachelor Season 26 will not premiere in 2021. It shouldn’t be that surprising then that the premiere is not on the list of October 2021 arrivals on ABC.
The Bachelor Season 26 premiere date predictions
When announcing the new host, ABC also confirmed that The Bachelor’s new season wouldn’t arrive until early 2022. We don’t have an exact date, but there is a chance that we’ll get to see it in January 2022.
This would match the 25th season. The season arrives in January 2021 because The Bachelorette had its first fall series due to the pandemic. We’re getting another Bachelorette season this fall, so it makes sense that the flagship series is going to be part of the spring season. We’re expecting Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette to run until December, and there’s no way ABC will bring a new show until the new year.
We already know Clayton Echard is going to be the lead of the season. He’s one of Michelle’s men, which does mean we’re going into Michelle’s season knowing of one guy who won’t make it through. The season is currently filming, so we’ll be on the look-out for spoilers.
