Is Titans Season 4 coming in 2021?

Titans Season 4 is officially happening. We got that news recently from HBO Max. Now eyes are on when the fourth season will premiere. Is there a chance we’ll get it in 2021?

Some great news came during the DC Fandome event in 2021. Titans Season 4 got the official greenlight. This renewal comes ahead of the Season 3 finale, and it means we go into Oct. 21’s episode without worrying about a cliffhanger ending.

Just how long will we need to wait to see the team back together, again? Is there a chance that we could see Titans Season 4 premiere in 2021? Let’s take a look at the chances.

Titans Season 4 is not coming in 2021

We have to start with the bad news. There isn’t a chance that Titans’ fourth season will arrive this year. There just isn’t the time for it.

The show has only just been renewed. Even if there was a quiet renewal beforehand, there still wouldn’t be time. Filming hasn’t started. The fourth season needs to be written first. Then there’s the post-production work after filming, and a show like this takes months of post-production work.

With that in mind, we’re looking at 2022 at the earliest.

Season 1 debuted in October 2018. It was September 2019 when we got to see the first episodes of Season 2. While it did take two years and a month for the third season, there was the issue of the pandemic. Toronto completely shut down filming for a while so things were pushed back.

With the city of Toronto back up and running as (almost) normal for filming, there’s no reason to think we’ll need to wait two years for Season 4. With the time between the first two seasons to judge, we could see Season 4 arrive sometime in September or October 2022. If not, we should at least see it by the end of the year.
