Anime fans, get ready for the best news you may have heard in a long time because Mob Psycho 100 has officially been renewed for a third season!
Yes, you read that right! The iconic shounen anime, which officially debuted its first season in 2016 and its second season in 2019, is finally returning with a new season nearly three years later and we absolutely cannot contain our excitement!

As of this current time, we do not yet know of season 3’s release date despite the third season being announced earlier today via the anime’s official Twitter.
Even still, we predict that the anime’s third season will premiere sometime in late Spring or early Summer 2022 being that this is around the same time the previous seasons debuted.
Of course, being that this is only a prediction, there is a chance that our guesses could be far off, but we will be sure to let you know as soon as possible when we have an official release date. Until then, read on to find out what else you can expect for this soon-coming season.

Without a doubt, we know that the third season will start from where the second season finished with Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama gaining a lot more confidence in himself outside of his psychic abilities as well as Claw leader, Toichiro Suzuki, finally being defeated.
With this in mind, the third season will most likely adapt chapters 92 through 101 which would cover the Divine Tree Arc, the Telepathy Mini Arc, the ???% arc, and the Epilogue—the last four arcs in the entire manga series.

It is expected for this third season to be its last season being that there are so few manga chapters left to be adapted. Despite a few of the chapters being immensely long in length/content, we predict this may not be enough of a reason for the show to return with an official fourth season.
There is, however, still a chance for the anime series to return with a film or additional OVAs after airing its third season, so there’s no need to worry or fret for now. After all, we finally got our third season and that’s reason enough to be extremely happy.
