Is Ordinary Joe on tonight, Monday, Nov. 8?

We spent the last episode of Ordinary Joe looking back at that one moment 10 years ago where Joe had to make a choice. Now it’s time to get back to the story, but is there a new episode tonight, Monday, Nov. 8?

Watching Joe make his three choices helped us understand how he gets to where he is in the present-day realities. We also got a look at how choices affected his friends and Jenny.

We’ll get back to the main storyline in the next new episode. Is that going to be tonight? Sadly not. There isn’t a new episode of Ordinary Joe on tonight, Monday, Nov. 8.

There isn’t a rerun either. Originally, NBC did plan for a rerun of the new series, but the network is going to air the pilot of The Lost Symbol instead. The Peacock series has been performing well, and it’s time to see how it could perform on linear.

Why isn’t Ordinary Joe on tonight?

The lack of new episode is likely linked to the pandemic. One of the big problems with the pandemic is how the extra protocols have added time on filming. This means the filmed and finalized episodes are taking longer to get to us and the aired episodes catch up.

There is only going to be one week of no new episode. The series returns on Monday, Nov. 15 with an episode titled “Reset.” We’ll pick back up with the present-day storylines.

Music Joe will need to help Amy through her grief, but how is he going to react when he learns she slept with Diaz? Cop Joe and Amy face the unexpected blowback that comes from turning Diaz in for everything he did. Meanwhile, Nurse Joe helps someone from the past. We got a look at what happened to Uncle Frank at the end of the previous episode, so this is likely him Nurse Joe needs to help.

Ordinary Joe returns with new episodes on Monday, Nov. 15 at 10/9c on NBC. Watch it the following day on Hulu.
