We’ve double-checked the list just in case we missed it, but we have some bad news. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is not on the list of arrivals on Hulu this month.
There’s still a wait on our hands to see how the next part of June’s story goes. And it’s not just about June anymore. We’re looking at the next part of Serena Joy’s story, Luke’s story, and even Nick’s story. There is just so much going on now in the world of The Handmaid’s Tale.
The bad news is we won’t get to see the new season this month. That means we’re not getting the new season in 2021, but we never really expected that, did we? Season 4 premiered in 2021, and it’s extremely rare to get a new season of a show in the same calendar year on streaming platforms.
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 premiere date predictions
Right now, we don’t know much about The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5. Things are always quiet when it comes to filming. I can tell you now that when they come to my local area they have code names for the filming to fans don’t know what show it is! This is a show that wants to keep spoilers to a minimum.
We’re not expecting the new season until at least April 2022, though. That would mark a year from when Season 4 premiered. It’s more likely to be summer 2022. The best thing is to predict further in the future and be excited if we get it earlier.
This could be the final season. The show is going to have to wrap up the story in a way that feels final instead of ending up with it canceled with cliffhangers. Hulu is supportive of the show, so we’re sure to see it renewed until the show says that it’s time to end.
