It looks like we will be kicking this new year off without a season 3 of the Hulu original series, Ramy, and fans are starting to get a little worried.
The season 2 finale, which was released back in May 2020, was the last time we saw this series, and the finale seemed to have ended on a note where it was safe to assume that a third season would follow soon after. Our protagonist Ramy officially hit rock bottom and was essentially homeless, wife-less, and Sheik-less by the end of the second season. In knowing this, fans expected they will be given a season 3 that will depict the next steps Ramy will take to, hopefully, become a better person.
Fortunately, fans’ season 3 suspicions were confirmed last year when Ramy was officially renewed for a third season. Unfortunately, however, this season 3 renewal came without a date. With multiple days and weeks going by without season 3 on our Hulu screens, is it possible that fans won’t receive this new season until late 2022? We tell you everything we know so far, here.
Ramy season 3 release date (predictions)
As of today, Ramy season 3 is certainly not coming in January 2022 nor does it look to be coming in any of the early months of the new year. And with the creator and star of the series Ramy Youssef relatively silent on the return on the Hulu original, for now, it’s safe to assume we may not receive the new season until late Spring or Summer 2022.
These dates coincide with the times in which seasons 1 and 2 of the show debuted on Hulu, making this all the more reason to not expect for the show to be prolonged until much later in the year. However, as nothing has yet to be confirmed, Ramy season 3’s release date is still very much anyone’s guess.
