The wait continues, Better Call Saul fans! A new month means new shows and movies are on the way, but Better Call Saul season 6 will not be one of them as the new and final chapter is not coming to AMC in February 2022.
That’s right, unfortunately, February 2022 will not see the release of Better Call Saul season 6. At least, not that we know of at the time of this writing. When a new season for any show is announced, we get a release date announcement, a teaser trailer, and that’s followed by at least two full-length trailers. This is all done well ahead of time, I would say 5-6 weeks before the release. Going by these unwritten rules, it’s highly unlikely AMC will surprise us with a new season.
However, what could happen this month is AMC releasing the premiere date for the upcoming (and final) season. If Better Call Saul season 6 is going to premiere early in 2022, March is the last month to give fans some solid information! Come on, AMC! What’s the hold up? Needless to say, fans are becoming a little impatient here.
When is Better Call Saul season 6 coming out in 2022?
The tweet below shares that the cast and crew of Better Call Saul will be attending PaleyFest 2022 on April 9, 2022. My best guess is that we get a release date announcement in February and maybe a short teaser trailer, and the first official full-length trailer will come in April during the festival. This could put the season 6 release date in late April to early May.
Another way this could go, is AMC holding both the trailer AND release date reveal until April 9, 2022, at the PaleyFest. This is possible, but it seems excessive. Why keep fans in the dark for so long? Two more months with no news? I hope this isn’t the case. We are crossing our fingers for some news in February, whether it’s a release date announcement or an image (we’ll take anything at this point really).
