What will you be streaming on Disney+ in the month of February 2022? Below, we share four shows and movies not to miss and two you can skip!
One can easily assume that Disney+ is a big player in the streaming wars. After all, it is home to two of the biggest franchises in the world, Star Wars and Marvel. There’s also the fact that Disney+ has a giant library of beloved Disney classics. But it can be argued that this may not be enough. It seems like it is, sure, and it is certainly what keeps subscribers on the platform. But outside of this, there’s not much happening in the platform, and the additions coming in February prove it.
February 2022 is very light on content, more so than other months, which are already on the short side. From new to old content coming to Disney+, here’s what we recommend and what we feel you can pass on.
4 Disney+ shows and movies to watch in February 2022
It’s a quiet month for Disney+, but here are some titles that may be worth your time.
- New episodes of The Book of Boba Fett (including the season 1 finale)
- Marvel Studios: Assembled — The Making of Hawkeye, Feb. 9
- Marvel Studios: Assembled — The Making of Eternals, Feb. 16
- Free Guy, Feb. 23
- The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Feb. 23
The first two Wednesdays of the month will bring Star Wars fans new episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, including the season 1 finale. And if you enjoy watching behind-the-scenes magic at work, The Making of Hawkeye and The Making of Eternals should be impressive. If you ask me, though, these should be included with the release of the show/movie, no need to make it an entire thing, but Disney+ is short on content.
Finally, there’s Free Guy finally arriving to a streaming platform, and the premiere of The Proud Family : Louder and Prouder.
2 Disney+ shows and movies to skip in February 2022
If you have your eyes on too much already, you can probably skip these two:
- Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, Feb. 9
- The Wonderful Winter of Mickey Mouse, Feb. 18
- (and possibly all else)
I listed these two programs here because the target audience is very small, if you’re reading this, I’m going to assume this isn’t the content seek.
