Murderville: Which celebrity detectives crack the case and which fail?

Murderville is a new murder-mystery show on Netflix that sees Will Arnett team up with celebrity guest star detectives to solve the latest murder in town. The series is so much fun to watch and trying to solve the murder-mystery along with the celebrity guests is part of the adventure! But which celebrities successfully crack the case and which fail?

If you love murder-mysteries, we are now best friends. I love murder-mysteries and crime-dramas. I wouldn’t have minded if Murderville was more of the same, but it’s actually not like the others.

Murderville sees Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) teaming up with a different guest star each day as his partner. However, there’s a catch to cracking these cases! The celebrity guests are not given a script. In fact, they have no idea what to expect, because they truly are there to try to solve the case. They alone must gather all clues and guess who did it. And there’s nothing I love more than watching actors break character, laugh, and just have a genuine good time! If you feel the same, you’ll love Murderville.

SPOILER ALERT! This is where you leave us if you have not finished watching Murderville on Netflix. If you have seen it, recap the cases with us! Below, we list the celebrity detectives who solved the mystery and the ones who failed and were promptly fired.

Who solved the murder mysteries in Murderville?

  • Conan O’Brien: Yes! Conan solved the mystery and figured out who the killer was. He even comes up with a few fun, yet incorrect, theories of his own.
  • Marshawn Lynch: Marshawn was so fun to see alongside Will Arnett, but, unfortunately, he did not figure out who the killer was.
  • Kumail Nanjiani: Yes! And I never doubted that Kumail would solve the case, you can see he is carefully analyzing the clues from the start.
  • Annie Murphy: Of course Annie solves the case!
  • Sharon Stone: Sadly, no. I believe Sharon thought about it too much and overthinking it made her pick the wrong killer.
  • Ken Jeong: He does not, and I was very surprised! Don’t underestimate Ken, he’s very clever, but he simply didn’t think outside the box here.

What about you? How did you do? Did you figure out who the killer was in each episode? All six episodes of Murderville are now streaming on Netflix.
