Batwoman season 3 is speeding toward its conclusion as we launch into episode 11, “Broken Toys.” Now that Team Bat finally has Mary back on their side, the hope would be that the team would have some time to rest but that’s, unfortunately for them, not the case.
While one fire has been put out, another has been set a blaze thanks to some flooding. In the last episode, “Toxic,” the team was able to stop Poison Ivy from breaking the Gotham dam and plunging the city into water. However, some of the water did make its way to town causing a major inconvenience, none more so than at the clinic where they’d been keeping Marquis Jet’s desiccated body.
A drop of water revitalized him and now he’s back terrorizing Gotham and raring to ruin Ryan’s life. His plan of action? Taking over Arkham Asylum and breaking out Victor Zsasz. But that’s not the only problem that Team Bat will have to deal with. Mary let slip to Marquis the identities of Batwoman and Batwing in a fit of pique which means both Ryan and Luke’s civilian lives could get incredibly messy if Marquis decides to spill the truth to anyone around him.
“Broken Toys” will also mark Batwoman star Camrus Johnson’s first time directing an episode of television. He pulled double duty in episode 11 as Luke isn’t on the sidelines for this storyline. He and Sophie are set to go on a mission of there own.
