The weekend has finally arrived and there’s truly no better way to enjoy some relaxation than with help from a new movie. Unfortunately, if Free Guy is at the top of your watchlist for the weekend we have some bad news for you.
Released in August 2021, Free Guy was a rare summer movie that did not land on a streaming service the same day it opened in theaters. The hope among fans wanting to see the film from the comfort of their home was that the movie would arrive on a streaming service shortly after its theatrical releases.
However, fast forward six months and we’re still waiting for the Ryan Reynolds-led film to arrive on a streaming service such as Disney Plus. The bad news is that while the film is not currently on Disney Plus, the film is coming to Disney Plus very soon!
When does Free Guy come to Disney Plus?
Free Guy might not be available to stream at the moment, but Disney Plus has announced the hit film will soon be coming. In fact, it’s coming before the end of February!
As confirmed by Disney Plus, Free Guy will debut on Disney Plus in the US on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Admittedly, it is a bit odd to see the film arrive in the middle of the week on a Wednesday, but then again Disney has become obsessed with its Wednesday releases.
The film is sure to be a must-watch for Disney Plus subscribers next week and will surely get a nice bump over the weekend when viewers go to look for something new to watch.
