Unfortunately, no. Comedy Central is not airing a new episode of South Park tonight. But don’t worry, it’s only taking a one-week break. South Park season 25 episode 4 will premiere on March 2.
Spoilers Ahead: South Park season 25 so far…
South Park Season 25 have been full of laughs, touching on tough topics with the satirical jabs the show has become infamous for. The first episode of the season, “Pajama Day,” had South Park comparing the divisive debate of mask wearing to zealous conviction to or to not wear sleepy time clothings to work.
Later in the second episode, “The Big Fix,” Marsh looks to answer the public’s demand for black-owned marihuana businesses by making Tolkien’s father, Steven Black, a part owner of Tegridy Farms. Then, most recently in “City People,” South Park is swarmed with city people looking for country homes, and a realtor war breaks out between Cartman and his mom.
Aside from some great jokes this year, season 25 has seen some interesting breaks in the status quo of the show. The Black family are now the new neighbors of the Marshs since the end of “The Big Fix,” promising a true free market battle between the two cannabis dispensary. Considering how Randy has dealt with competitors before… Well, I hope for Tolkien’s sake his family grows hemp with true tegridy. Additionally, since the end of “City People,” Cartman and his mother have been forced out of their long-established home and forced into a hot dog.
