If you didn’t know that The Afterparty is a wrap on Apple TV+, where have you been? You have definitely missed out one shocking finale. Well, it’s shocking depending on who your main suspects were before the season finale saw Detective Danner breaking the case. That said, please note there are spoilers ahead! Is The Afterparty season 2 happening?
Yes! The Afterparty season 2 is happening on Apple TV+! Now, I know what you’re thinking, I remember the mystery-comedy being promoted as a limited series. But that term doesn’t have a lot of meaning these days. Needless to say, this wouldn’t be the first time that a “limited series” gets a second season.
To name a few “limited” shows that have been renewed, there’s The White Lotus and Big Little Lies. And don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed getting another season of Big Little Lies. The White Lotus season 2 has not yet premiered, but if it’s anything like the first season, we are in for a treat! So far, the cast announcements for the second season of The White Lotus have been very exciting.
In The Afterparty season 1 finale, Danner reveals that it is Yasper who killed Xavier due to him being jealous of the singer. I think we all knew deep down that Yasper was the killer, but we liked him too much to admit it!
Not many details have been released about season 2, but I’m willing to bet we’ll see Danner try to solve another case, so we may get a new cast. As soon as we learn more, we’ll update you!
