Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is now playing in theaters. If you have seen the movie, read on! If you haven’t, what are you doing? You need to get your tickets ASAP! One of the questions many have (even after watching the movie), is whether or not one of the most popular supervillains, Two-Face aka Harvey Dent, is in the movie. The main villain in The Batman, is Riddler, portrayed in this movie by Paul Dano, who is absolutely wonderful as Edward Nigma! Giving Batman a rough time are also Penguin (Colin Farrell) and Falcone (John Turturro). Are those the only main villains in the movie?
Is Two-Face in The Batman movie?
One of the final scenes in the movie shows Riddler in Arkham Asylum when a fellow prisoner starts talking to him. We don’t see this man too clearly, but clear enough to know that it’s actor Barry Keoghan. But what role does Keoghan play here? That’s the mystery!
Everyone’s first guess is the Joker, especially because of the unmistakable laugh. But there are many fans who are suggesting this prisoner is Two-Face. My guess? Joker.
Cleaveland also reminds fans that director Matt Reeves teased that a scene with Keoghan and Batman was cut from the movie. Reeves shares “it’s a very cool scene, and I’m sure we’ll release the scene after the movie comes out,” so hang tight!
Who do you think this mysterious character could be? Are you hoping it’s the Joker? Some fans believe it’s too early to introduce the character again, but most fans would love to see it. Now, it’s not official that Robert Pattison’s The Batman will be a trilogy, but if it is, Joker could continue to be teased in a second movie, but feature another villain as the main focus (such as Two-Face). That way, Joker can be the final villain.
