What is The Lost City about?

Ready for action, adventure, comedy, and maybe some romance? That’s what we have in store from the upcoming film, The Lost City.

The Paramount Pictures produced movie is one I’m certainly excited for. The trailer looks so fun! And bringing that story to life is a star-studded cast. Talented actors Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt headline The Lost City.

The movie is directed by brothers Aaron and Adam Nee, an American filmmaking duo. Parents looking to watch a movie with their teens, or a group of friends ready to embark on an adventure can check out the PG-13 rated movie this weekend.

What is The Lost City about?

Successful author Loretta Sage (Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic places in her romance-adventure novels. But the reclusive writer’s personality is the opposite of the characters in her books. She has no idea that she’s going on an adventure fit for the pages.

Cover model Alan (Tatum) has dedicated his career to embodying Dash, the hero character from Loretta’s books. While the two are on tour to promote the latest novel, Loretta is kidnapped by billionaire Fairfax (Radcliffe), who believes she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure that she describes in her latest story.

Alan, wanting to prove he’s more than just a handsome model, goes after Loretta on his own hero’s journey to save her. Will the two be able to get out of the jungle and find the treasure? We’ll find out very soon!

The romantic adventure comedy film has a lot to offer. A great story with a great cast. Knowing the pattern movies usually follow, I’m sure we’re going to see something brewing between Loretta and Alan. He’s going to be able to prove himself, and she’s probably going to learn to come out of her shell. The two will have an adventure of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to embark on this journey with them!

The Lost City hits theaters on March 25.
