The case involves a teenager who is experimenting on himself with technology. This boy has placed magnets in his hands and wrists. It’s an attempt to be more in-tune with today’s technological world. However, it’s coming at a price.
There’s a chance he will lose his fingers. Shaun may have a way to turn this boy into a cyborg if that’s really what he wants to achieve.

Meanwhile, Glassman, Morgan, Park, and Jordan have a patient with depression and chronic pain. She wants a controversial surgery, so it’s going to involve a discussion between the doctors. It’s not clear what this surgery is right now, though.
There are a lot of controversial surgeries out there. It’s not clear which side of the decision each of the doctors stand on, and this could be one of those episodes that sees a lot of medical debate.
Meanwhile, Reznick wants to move her relationship with Park to the next level. They’ve held back for some time, now, but it’s time to make a stand. The question is whether Park is willing to move forward, too.
